Shubha Dixit joined Peninsula Montessori School in 2005, but has taught in the Montessori system both in California and Michigan for over 20 years. She has a Masters in Education and a Masters in Economics. In addition to the Montessori certification, she also has her California teaching credentials. She is married and has two wonderful grown children, and a tabby cat. Besides teaching, she likes to garden, read and travel.

Nancy DiPietro - Bio (Upper Elementary)

Nancy DiPietro has been an assistant in the Upper Elementary since 1996. Her career highlights include: a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri, nine years as an International flight attendant for Pan American, and her favorite, "Mom to her two grown daughters." She is a firm believer in the artistic potential of the right brain, and delights in drawing it from her students. Nancy enjoys cooking and crafting in her spare time.

Mrs. Shubha is an incredible teacher. She has the ability to get the best out of our children by reinforcing the positive in all that they do and accomplish in the classroom. In addition, her interest in their lives outside the classroom helps to build solid relationships which only enhances the learning process.

Mrs. Shubha treats all students with respect and dignity while expecting them to put forth their very best efforts. My daughter has blossomed academically and socially in Mrs. Shubha's classroom due to her gentle guidance and the harmonious atmosphere she promotes. My daughter enjoys going to school and the amount she is learning is phenomenal.
