Carol Hagen, Office Manager, Rancho Palos Verdes Campus

Carol Hagen joined the staff of Peninsula Montessori School in September of 1992 and worked for 2 years as a transition assistant. In 1994 she moved to the position of Elementary Office Manager. After attending California State Long Beach, she worked in the Northrup Aircraft Company Library, followed by 5 years as the office manager for an orthodontic office. During her 10 years as a stay-at-home mom, she spent many hours volunteering with children as a parent volunteer, room mom and held many positions in the PTA. Since her two sons are now adults, she enjoys working with the children of Peninsula Montessori.

Pauline Fukuwa, Office Manager, Redondo Beach Campus

Pauline Fukuwa is the Office Manager at the Redondo Beach campus. She has had multiple roles at Peninsula Montessori School since 1983; as a parent, an office manager at the Ridgecrest Campus, Treasurer for the Montessori Parents Association (MPA) and Office Assistant at the RPV campus. The past years she has volunteered throught the Palos Verdes Community in PTA, MPA, Las Madrecitas and Peace4kids in Watts (a nonprofit organization servicing foster care youth). In her spare time she enjoys being with her family, vacationing, reading and art.  

Teresa Campa, Administrative Assistant

Teresa Campa is in her seventh year teaching Spanish at Peninsula Montessori. She received a BA from California State University, Long Beach and has been teaching a total of 13 years. She was introduced to Peninsula Montessori by her niece who attended preschool through 6th grade. She fell in love with the Montessori Method of education, which led to a career change from social work to education. Her greatest satisfaction is seeing her students get excited about learning another language, the culture and especially when they understand how important Spanish will be for their future. She loves music, photography, traveling, drawing, mythology, folktales and ancient history.
